Tablets in the Classroom - Saugus High School

The following are just a few notes I jotted down from today's tablet meeting:

GW Mail - if, as a district, we switch to Gmail, paying $9.99 for this app will not be worth it; although worth noting that GW Mail IS a great app! I purchased it about three years ago and it has been worth every penny (bought it back when it was only $4.99).

Notability - import PDFs, PPTs, etc. You can then draw, write on what you have imported

Turnitin - Lots of cool features if you are already using turnitin.com

MyScript Calculator - very cool; takes your hand written equations and transcribes them

Explain Everything - you can dictate and record a screencast
