- Everything is in the cloud - Because Google Drive is web-based, everything is in the cloud. This means all your data is at your fingertips as long as you have an internet connection. And even if you DON'T have an internet connection, Google Drive offers an offline option as well so you can sync whenever you are back online.
- AutoSave - I never lose ANYTHING because of a computer freeze, a power outage, or other glitch. Never even do I have hours worth of work wasted simply because I forgot to press "Save."
- Collaboration - You can share work with your peers, so you can both work on the same document, presentation, or spreadsheet at the same time, and see each other's work in realtime. There is also a chat feature so you can ask questions and get feedback while you all are working together.
- Flexible share settings - You can set share settings on Document to View Only, Edit, or Comment. This means you give your audience only the access they need.
- Mobile app - With Google Drive's mobile app for iOS and Android, you can access all your files on the go, even without your computer. Someone using the family computer at home and you have work to get done? No problem! Open up the Google Drive app on your iPod Touch, iPad, Kindle Fire, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, whatever! You can literally type up an entire essay on your iPod Touch and then log in and print the next time you're on a computer.
- Forms - With Google Forms, you can create online surveys and applications that you can then share with your school. Have trouble getting Student-of-the-Month nomination forms back from teachers? Put it online! Want to make your ASB application paperless? Put it in a Form! Results of the form are placed in a spreadsheet for easy viewing of results.

We don't ever want to think that someone is not pulling their weight, but with Google Drive, there is complete accountability for the work that everyone does in a project.
- Never send another attachment. Ever. - Attaching a PowerPoint to an e-mail can sometimes take forever to send or receive. Sometimes the person you were sending to never gets it because the attachment was too big. How about sending audio or video files via e-mail? That can be rough, too. With Google Drive, you simply upload your file, and then share. If changes are made, the person you share with always sees the most up-to-date version so you never have to re-send.
