Form Up! with Google Forms - #CADA2015

UPDATE--I got the map to work!
Goals for today:
  • Understand what a Google Form is and the real power that Google Forms have (nothing like it on any other platform I've seen)
  • Take a SURVEY using Google Forms (and show you something pretty cool at the end if we have 5 minutes left) - you can see those survey results HERE
  • Show you 77 different ways that my friends and I are using Google Forms in education

Steve Dotto is a pretty cool Canadian, and has lots of great tech tips to share! Here is his tutorial on creating Google Forms

Here's me talking about Creating an Assessment in Google Forms

And then me again showing how to grade that assessment using Flubaroo

The add-ons that I may talk about today, but may not have time to show you are:

Flubaroo - for grading quizzes and tests
Autocrat - it's like mail merge for Google Drive
Doctopus - gather up contact information from your students and then Doctopus emails out a template document to each of them for them to individually edit (a feature that is now so much easier using Google Classroom
Choice Eliminator - make a list of options and have each option disappear as it's chosen; great for interview times, parent conference times, project topics, potluck items, etc.
